U.S. midterm election exit poll-
According to an Edison Research exit poll of voters after casting their ballots, inflation and abortion topped the list of important factors that motivate U.S. voters to participate in the Nov. 8 midterm elections. This is followed by crime, immigration and gun policy.
This midterm election will determine control of Congress and the ownership of some governorships. According to the poll, voter participation is equal for men and women.The following is a summary of the latest results of this survey:
• About 6 out of 10 voters said they were "dissatisfied or angry" at the U.S. Supreme Court's overturning of Roe v. Wade. About the same percentage said abortion should be legal.
• About 3 out of 10 voters said inflation was their number one concern in deciding how to vote.

• About 1 in 10 voters said that crime was the number one concern in deciding how they would vote.
• About 1 in 10 voters said immigration was their number one concern in deciding how to vote.
• About 1 in 10 voters said gun policy was their number one concern in deciding how to vote.
• About 8 out of 10 voters said the economy was "not too good or bad," compared with about 2 out of 10 voters who said the economy was "good or good."
• About 6 out of 10 voters said gasoline prices had recently caused them financial difficulties.
• About 6 out of 10 voters said abortion should be legal, compared with 4 out of 10 voters who said abortion should be illegal.
• About 5 out of 10 voters said their family's financial situation was worse than it was two years ago, while 3 out of 10 voters said there was no change and 2 out of 10 said it was better than two years ago.
• About 7 out of 10 voters said they don't want President Biden to run for re-election.
• About 7 out of 10 voters said Americans were threatened.
• About 6 out of 10 voters have a bad opinion of Trump, and about 4 out of 10 voters have a favorable view of Trump.
• About half of voters approve of Biden's plan to forgive student loans, and about the same percentage disapprove.
